How to make Heart Krispies Treats

1. Line a baking pan with parchment paper or grease the baking pan.

2. Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat.

3. Add marshmallows and heat until melted, stirring often.

5. Add the rice krispies, and stir until combined.

6. Pour the mixture into the baking pan, and refrigerate for 1 hour to set.

7. Remove the parchment paper with treats from the pan, set it on a counter or cutting board, and use the cookie cutter to cut as many hearts as you can.

8. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

9. Add the candy melts to a small bowl and heat on high for 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring between each heating session, until fully melted.

10. Dip one side of each heart into the melted candy, set it on the parchment sheet, and add sprinkles.

11. Transfer to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until the candy sets.

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 10 drops red food coloring
  • 1 cup pink candy melts

Instructions
