Drizzle over Korean beef bulgogi or on burgers and hot dogs, use it as a dip for french fries and sweet potato fries, or add it to a cucumber kimchi salad.

Tips & Tricks

  • For a more spicy yum-yum sauce, add more gochujang. If it is too spicy, reduce the amount.
  • Not all grocery stores carry specialty spices like gochujang (a Korean fermented chili paste). Check the Asian food section of large supermarkets or Asian grocery stores.
  • If you cannot find gochujang, substitute it for ssamjang, sriracha, or another spicy sauce.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge, which should last up to a week.
