To Serve:

These pinwheels can be served as is or with a dipping sauce. If you want to serve them with a dipping sauce, I recommend more of the pizza sauce or perhaps try a BBQ sauce.

Notes and Tips:

  • If you want more pizza flavor, add an additional ¼ cup of sauce. I wouldn’t recommend adding more than ½ cup total, though, as it would be runny.
  • The end pieces aren’t full, so I usually don’t serve those. You can snack on those while making these pinwheels! Or, you can just toss them.

Storage:

These pinwheels are best when they are fresh, but they will still taste good a day or two after you make them. Just make sure to store them properly, so they don’t dry out. Store them in the fridge and in an airtight container.

Can I make these ahead of time?

Yes, you can make these ahead of time. Just make sure to store them in an airtight container in the fridge. They will keep for a couple of days.

You really can’t go wrong with this simple party appetizer. Of course, these are perfect for an afternoon snack or to pack for lunch too!
