Serving Suggestions

These pinwheels can be served as is or with a dipping sauce. If you want to serve them with a dipping sauce, I recommend more pizza sauce or perhaps a BBQ sauce.

Serve these tasty pinwheels at game day gatherings, birthday parties, or as a fun after-school snack. They’re also perfect for packing in lunchboxes for a quick and satisfying meal on the go.

Storing Pizza Pinwheels

These pinwheels are best when they are fresh, but they will still taste good a day or two after they are made. Just make sure to store them properly so they don’t dry out.

  • Fridge: Store pinwheels in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Make Ahead: Prepare the rolls a day in advance and slice just before serving.
  • Not freezer-friendly: Due to the cream cheese and fresh tortillas, these don’t freeze well.

Notes

  • Add an additional ¼ cup of sauce if you want more pizza flavor. I wouldn’t recommend adding more than ½ cup total, though, as it would be runny.
