How to Make Microwaved Scrambled Eggs
1. In a deep bowl suitable for heating in a microwave oven, beat in three eggs, pour in milk, and add salt. You can also add any spices you like; we have suggested a few later in this post.

2. Thoroughly mix everything with a fork or whisk until everything is combined together.

3. Put the bowl in the microwave and cook on medium power (800-1000). After 30 seconds, remove the bowl from the microwave and mix the eggs with a fork. They will partially begin to seize from above. This also helps to get that scrambled egg texture.

4. Place the bowl in the microwave for another 30 seconds. The scrambled eggs will be almost ready at this point. Stir it again. Since the eggs are still slightly damp, you can continue to cook until the desired consistency is reached.

5. After 15 seconds, the scramble becomes less moist and can be served. However, if dry scramble is your goal, continue cooking it in 15-second pulses until you get the texture you want. One or two pulses of 15 seconds will be enough.

Enjoy your scrambled eggs cooked in the microwave. Serve with your preferred accompaniments.
Substitutions & Variations
- Add some additional seasonings for extra flavor. You could add some turmeric for the health properties, black pepper, chili powder or flakes for that extra kick, or even some curry powder if you are enjoying the eggs at lunchtime or as part of an evening meal.
- Add some tomatoes or chopped chives to the eggs. Give it a good mix with each microwave interval to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Cooked veg will also work well with this. You could add some cooked mushrooms, peppers, or even cooked potatoes chopped small.
- Why not add some cooked meat to the eggs? Ham, chopped sausages, or bacon will be great ways to add to this scrambled eggs recipe.

Notes and Tips
- Make sure you don’t do more than 15-second bursts in the microwave. This will ensure that you can keep the eggs moving as well as ensure that they don’t overcook.
- Always use a microwave-safe bowl when cooking anything in the microwave.
- Make sure the eggs are whisked completely before adding them to the microwave to cook.
