Tips & Tricks

  • Make these the day before your party to save time, and be sure to store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • These pinwheels can be served as is or with a dipping sauce.
  • Pinwheels are easiest to cut with a serrated knife. My bread knife is my favorite to use.
  • I like to use the baby dill pickles for this recipe as they aren’t as juicy as sliced pickles so the tortillas won’t get soggy from them.
  • The end pieces aren’t full, so I usually don’t serve those. You can snack on those while making these pinwheels! Or, you can toss them.
  • Refrigerate leftovers for up to 1 day. Any longer, and they may start to get soggy.
