Magic bars are a long-time favorite in my family. Plus, they are super easy to make and extremely TASTY just from layering a few ingredients in a baking dish.

Ingredients
- Graham cracker crumbs
- Butter
- Eggs
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Vanilla extract
- Pecans, chopped
- Chocolate chips
How To Make Pecan & Chocolate Chip Magic Bars
These magic bars are quite possibly the easiest thing you can bake. The most difficult part is stirring together the crust and pressing it into the pan.
Then, it’s dump, mix, and then fold out the sweetened condensed milk over the graham crust and bake. What you get is this magically delicious, nutty, gooey, caramel-y concoction that is completely irresistible.
Be sure you let these set and cool for at least one hour before cutting them into bars.
Notes and Tips
- Swap out the pecans and chocolate chips for your favorite magic bar toppings: coconut, dried fruit, etc.
- Store covered or in an airtight container.

Pecan and Chocolate Chip Magic Bars
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 –14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecans chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1 egg, and butter together until well combined.
- Press the mixture into a greased 8″ x 8″ casserole pan.
- In a bowl, combine the milk, 1 egg and vanilla extract. Gently stir in the pecans and chocolate chips and then fold out over the graham crust.
- Bake for 24-28 minutes, until the top is golden colored.
- Let the crust set and cool for at least one hour before cutting into bars.
