Substitutions and Additions
- You could make a vegetarian or plant-based version of this by using plant-based bacon and substituting the chicken for something like asparagus or other vegetables.
- Why not have bacon-wrapped vegetables instead? This would work perfectly with courgette or peppers for something a little different.
- You could use boneless chicken thighs instead of chicken breast if you wish.

You could also serve the chicken as it is with some chips and vegetables to make it a more substantial meal. Adding to a warm sandwich with some salad and sauce would also be great.

If you have any leftovers then make sure they have cooled completely before transferring to an airtight container. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can reheat them in the oven, microwave, or air fryer for a couple of minutes.
