How to Make Cherry Chip Cake Mix Cookies

We made these awesome cookies for Easter and they were eaten so fast. I did adjust things a bit.
1 we used a cherry chip cake mix
2. we placed the cherries on paper towels to dry. Then placed the chopped cherries on paper towels, then before adding the chopped cherries, we transfered to some dry towels and squeezed more juice out
The cookies were moist and delicious and not so fragile.
Kids and adults alike loved them!
