Notes and Tips
- Be careful when heating the mixture. You don’t want to overdo it. If children are helping, they may need adult supervision at this stage.
- Rubbing alcohol is a great way to help reduce the bubbles in the mixture.
- Ensure you have a steady hand when pouring into the molds.
- Protect any tables by covering them with a cloth.
What age range is this craft suitable for?
This craft is suitable for older children and adults. Younger children can get involved but will need adult help pouring the soap bar mix and handling the hot liquid. They could have fun decorating the soap bars or wrapping them up as gifts.
What if I don’t have all of the supplies?
You don’t need to be specific about my suggested colors or fragrances. You can get creative if you have the main supplies to make the soap bars.
