Prep time: 10 minutes
Set time: overnight
Makes: 3 small and 2 medium bath bombs
Storage: airtight container
Supplies
A complete list of supplies and the amounts can be found in the printable card below
- Baking soda
- Citric acid
- Epsom salts
- Pink Kaolin Clay
- Sweet almond oil
- Water
- Bath bomb molds
Directions
- Add the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salts, and kaolin clay to a bowl and stir with a whisk until all of the ingredients are completely combined.
- Mix the sweet almond oil and water together. This mixes easiest if you shake it in a small jar.
- Slowly pour the liquid into the mixture while whisking. (You want to do this drop by drop so as not to activate the fizz; otherwise, you may ruin the mixture.) Whisk together until you have a mixture that easily clumps together.
- Overfill two halves of the bath bomb molds, press together, and give a quick twist. Allow the mixture to set in the mold for 1 hour; then, you can unmold it and allow it to set overnight to harden completely.
Using your bath bomb
Once your bath bomb has set and hardened, you can use it in your next relaxing bath. Simply fill your tub with warm water, drop in the bath bomb, and watch as it fizzes and dissolves into the water. Then, hop into the tub and relax in the luxurious bubbly water.
The Pink Kaolin Clay will leave your skin feeling soft and nourished, making this bath bomb a fun DIY project and a beneficial addition to your self-care routine.
