You will need:

  • 3” Wooden round with hole drilled
  • Air dry clay
  • Parchment paper
  • Heart-shaped cookie cutter
  • Rolling pin
  • White acrylic paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Hot glue
  • Hemp twine

How To Make Your Wood Slice Ornament

Roll out the clay to ¼” flat. Then, cut out a heart shape using the cookie cutter.

Allow the clay heart to dry completely on the parchment paper.

Paint the heart white. Then, using hot glue, glue the white heart to the center of the wooden round.

Use the twine to create a hanging loop.

Instructions
 

  • Roll out the clay to ¼” flat.
  • Cut out a heart shape
  • Allow the clay heart to dry completely
  • Paint the heart white.
  • Glue the white heart to the center of the wooden round
  • Hang with twine.
