Let me show you how to make one of these easy jewelry or treasure trays using a small plastic toy and some acrylic paint.
Customize and personalize yours by using any plastic toy you like, and you’re favorite color.
This simple craft is easy enough for a child to put together, and perfect for them to use once finished.

Little Girl’s Trinket Tray
What You need:
- Small White Dish or Bowl
- Pink Acyclic Paint
- Small Plastic Horse
- Paintbrush
- Hot Glue Gun
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Paint the horse with the pink paint. Let dry and repeat the process again to get a good coat on it. Let dry.
- Add hot glue to the bottom of the feet and place it in the middle of the dish.
- Hold for a few seconds then let dry completely.
- Add rings, earrings, necklaces, or any trinkets you wish.
Little Boy’s Treasure Holder
What You Need:
- Small White Dish or Bowl
- Small Plastic Dinosaur
- Green Acrylic Paint
- Foam Brush
- Hot Glue Gun
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Paint the dinosaur with the green paint and let dry. Repeat step so you get a nice good coat on it and let dry completely.
- Place hot glue on the bottom of the dinosaur’s feet and press down in the middle of the dish.
- Hold for a few seconds then let dry completely.
- Add necklaces, rocks, coins, or any treasures to your dish.
