They have ingredients that will help moisturize your skin, are perfectly scented with a blend of eucalyptus, peppermint, lemon, and tea tree essential oils for winter, and the best part is a lotion bar doesn’t dry out.

It is a solid bar that is activated by your body heat, releasing moisture as you rub the bar across your skin. Which makes it a much less wasteful product to use.

Snowflake Lotion Bars

Supplies:

2 oz beeswax
2 oz shea butter
2 oz coconut oil
7 drops eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops peppermint essential oil
6 drops lemon essential oil
3 drops tea tree essential oil
Snowflake mold
4-cup microwave-safe measuring cup with a spout
Wooden craft stick for stirring

How to make the Snowflake Lotion Bars

In the measuring cup, layer in order, beeswax, shea butter, then coconut oil.

You will then need to heat in 30-second bursts. Make sure you remove the measuring cup each time and stir well. You need to continue doing this until everything is melted.
Allow to cool for just a few minutes, then add essential oils and stir well.

Pour into the mold, and allow to set for 2-3 hours.
Then remove from the mold and store the Lotion Bars in an airtight container.

Notes and Tips

Make sure you have all of your supplies to hand before you start. It is important to help you move to each step.
If children are helping then make sure they are supervised at all times. You will be dealing with hot oils essentially, so you may want to help them with that part.
