How to Make Button Snowman Ornament

You will need:

  • Wooden gift tag (2.71″ x 1.33″)
  • Red and white craft paint
  • Small white buttons
  • Angled paint brush
  • Gorilla Glue
  • Toothpick (to easily apply glue)
  • Twine
  • Scissors

Step by Step Guide

Use the red paint to paint a hat shape about ½ inches from the hole in the center of the wooden tag. Apply two thick coats of paint.

Use the bottom of the brush to make the “ball” at the top of the hat with white paint.

Using the toothpick, apply glue to the back of a button, then glue the button right over the rim of the hat.

Repeat this with the remaining two buttons to make the snowman’s body.

Cut a length of twine and loop it through the hole in the tag, then tie.
