Equipment

  • Star-shaped cookie cutter
  • Serving board or platter
  • Small white bowls

Ingredients

  • 1 block Pepper Jack cheese
  • 6–8 slices Salami
  • 6–8 slices Pepperoni
  • ½ cup Raspberries
  • ½ cup Blackberries
  • ½ cup Yogurt-covered pretzels
  • ½ cup Almond nut thins or your favorite crackers
  • ½ cup Red, white, and blue candy coins
  • ½ cup Red, white, and blue gumballs
  • 3–4 Red, white, and blue suckers

Instructions

  • Cut the cheese into pieces that are just larger than the star cookie cutter. Then slice the cheese into 4 slices. Use the cookie cutter to cut stars out of the cheese.
  • Roll the salami into a thin cone shape.
  • Add the blackberries, raspberries, and gumballs to small white bowls. Arrange the bowls onto the board first.
  • Arrange the salami next, as it will take up some space. Then arrange the other ingredients, trying to alternate with the colors.
  • Add the candy coins next, filling in any empty spaces.

Notes

  • Easily customize this board with your favorite red, white, and blue snacks.
  • Use more or fewer items depending on your board size and guest count.
  • To keep it cool outdoors, place the board over a tray of ice or serve indoors.
