Muscle Relief Magnesium Lotion

This magnesium lotion diy is perfect for sore muscles. Make this muscle-relief magnesium lotion and keep it on hand in a mason jar. Use this simple lotion DIY when you have sore muscles.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup magnesium flakes
  • 3 tbsp water boiling
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp shea butter
  • 2 tbsp beeswax
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops eucalyptus essential oil

Instructions

  • Boil the water, then add the magnesium, and stir until completely dissolved,
  • Add the coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax to a microwave safe bowl, and heat for 30 second intervals, until fully melted. Stir well between each heat session.
  • Pour melted mixture and magnesium into a bowl (or stand mixer) and beat on high for 5 minutes.
  • Allow to rest for 10 minutes, then beat again for a minute. Add essential oils, and beat to combine.
  • Store in an airtight container.
