Gingerbread syrup
- 1 ½ cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. Molasses
- 1 tsp. Ground ginger
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- Pinch Nutmeg
Gingerbread Latte
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup espresso or strong brewed coffee
- ¼ cup gingerbread syrup more or less to taste
- Whipped cream optional, for topping
- Ground nutmeg optional, for topping
- Cinnamon sticks optional, for topping
Gingerbread Latte
Add milk to a small saucepan.
Heat until steamy. Divide between two mugs.
To each mug, add ¼ cup of the espresso, and 2 tbsp. Gingerbread syrup.
Top with whipped cream, and add a gingerbread cookie, a sprinkle of nutmeg, or a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
