- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 ℉.
Melt the butter in the microwave.
Mix butter with granulated and brown sugar.
Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until well incorporated.
Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix until well incorporated.
Add chocolate chips and mix.
Scoop up 1½ tablespoons of dough and place them on the baking sheets 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-10 minutes.
Let your cookies cool for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
