Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 ℉.
  • Melt the butter in the microwave.
  • Mix butter with granulated and brown sugar.
  • Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until well incorporated.
  • Add flour, salt and baking soda and mix until well incorporated.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix.
  • Scoop up 1½ tablespoons of dough and place them on the baking sheets 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Let your cookies cool for 2-3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
