- 4 tablespoons butter sliced
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place the butter slices in a 9×13 casserole dish and let them melt in the oven.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt and whisk until combined.
Pour the batter into the dish over the melted butter.
Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are puffy and golden brown.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with syrup and fruit if desired.
