Large bowl
Rubber spatula
Cookie scoop
- 15.25 oz box white cake mix
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 3-4 drops green food coloring
- Green and white candy eyeballs 24 of each
- 3 tbsp Halloween Nonpareils
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the cake mix, oil, and eggs to a large bowl and stir until a dough forms.
Add the food coloring, and mix until the color is solid. Then fold in the nonpareils.
Use a cookie scoop to gather dough, and drop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 8-11 minutes, until cookies are done.
Remove from the oven, and immediately add one white and one green eyeball to each cookie. Gently press into the cookie so that they stay in.
Make sure you use parchment paper on the baking sheet. This will prevent the cookies from sticking to the pan once baked.
Spread out the cookie dough when placing it on the baking tray. The cookies will spread as they bake, and you won’t want them to stick together.
If children are present, ensure they are supervised when around the oven.
You can use a stand mixer or hand mixer to make light work of the cookie dough.
Store: Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
