Alien Spaceship Cupcakes
What could be more out-of-this-world than cupcakes that look like alien spaceships? These delicious and creative treats are easy to make and sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike.

Ingredients
Cupcakes:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs or as required by box instructions
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or as required
- 1 cup water or as required
Decorations:
- Mini M&M’s – about 8 per cupcake
- Small edible decorator eyes – 1 or 2 per cupcake
Frosting:
- Grey buttercream frosting – piped using a large round tip or snipped piping bag
- Green buttercream frosting – piped using a Wilton 18 star tip
Instructions
- Bake cupcakes per recipe and cool completely
- Use the gray frosting to pipe a smooth flat circle on top of each cupcake
- Place m&m’s around the outer edge of the cupcake as the spaceship lights
- Use the green frosting to pipe a small swirl in the middle of each cupcake to form the alien
- Place the decorator eyes on the alien
- Serve and enjoy!
