Alien Spaceship Cupcakes
What could be more out-of-this-world than cupcakes that look like alien spaceships? These delicious and creative treats are easy to make and sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
Cupcake Ingredients:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix + additional ingredients per directions OR your favorite recipe.
- Mini M&M’s assorted colours. You will need around 8 per cupcake
- Small edible decorator eyes
Frosting:
- Grey buttercream frosting in a piping bag with a large cut tip
- Green buttercream frosting in a piping bag with a Wilton 18 star tip
Instructions
- Bake cupcakes per recipe and cool completely
- Use the gray frosting to pipe a smooth flat circle on top of each cupcake
- Place m&m’s around the outer edge of the cupcake as the spaceship lights
- Use the green frosting to pipe a small swirl in the middle of each cupcake to form the alien
- Place the decorator eyes on the alien
- Serve and enjoy!
