Rae Dunn Inspired Wooden Slice Ornament
Looking for a fun and easy Christmas ornament project? This wooden slice Rae Dunn-inspired ornament is perfect! You only need a few supplies and it comes together quickly.
Equipment
- Foam brushes
- Ruler
- Craft glue or hot glue gun
Ingredients
- Wooden Slice Ornament Kit
- White acrylic paint
- Small pre-made bows
- Rae Dunn Inspired Rub Off Decals
- Ribbon or twine
Instructions
- Paint the front of the wooden slice. Allow to dry and paint one more coat.
- Once the paint is completely dry, choose the word you want to use. Line up the decal and using a credit card, rub it onto the painted side of the wood slice. Carefully peel the backing of the decal off the ornament.
- Using the craft glue or glue gun, attach the bow to the top of the ornament.
- Cut a 6” length of ribbon or twine, form a loop, and then using the craft glue or glue gun, attach it to the top of the back side of the wood slice.
- Allow to dry completely before hanging.
