Make this gorgeous patriotic wreath for the summer holidays. This easy diy wreath requires less than $10 worth of supplies from Dollar Tree to make. This red, white, and blue wreath craft will make a lovely statement piece on your door this summer!
Servings: 1 wreath

Ingredients

  • Star metal wreath form
  • 6 rolls of deco mesh
  • Scissors
  • 15 Pipe cleaners I used white
  • Hot glue gun
  • Hot glue
  • Red, white, and blue foam stars
  • 7- inch piece of cardboard

Instructions

  • Wrap the deco mesh around the cardboard, until you get to the end of the roll. Cut each end, holding tightly onto the mesh. You will be left with 7-inch pieces of mesh. Repeat for each roll of mesh.
  • Cut the pipe cleaners in half.
  • Roll a piece of mesh up, placing it between your middle and forefinger. Repeat with 3 more pieces, alternating colors, stacking them between your fingers.
  • Wrap a pipe cleaner around the 4 pieces of stacked mesh rolls.
  • Make 30 bunches of these.
  • Set one of the mesh bunches on the inner wire of the wreath form, then wrap the pipe cleaner around the wire in the back.
  • Repeat the step above, securing 3 bunches in each of the 10 sections of the wreath form.
  • Fluff the mesh as needed.
  • Arrange the foam stars all over the wreath, then glue them in place with hot glue.
