  • Marmite
  • Grated Cheese dairy-free if making vegan
  • Egg Wash or Milk Glaze use dairy-free milk if vegan

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 190 degrees C/375 degrees F
  • Roll out puff pastry into an oblong.
  • Spread marmite over one half and sprinkle over the cheese.
  • Fold the pastry over the cheese and marmite mix.
  • Cut into fingers (about 1-inch to 1½-inches wide), twist around and place on a non stick baking tray.
  • Brush with egg wash or milk glaze.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes
  • Let them cool a little before eating.

Notes

Make sure you brush the pastry with an egg glaze or milk wash. This helps to get that golden crunch on the pastry.
Only cover half of the oblong of the pastry in marmite and cheese. You will fold over the other side to cover it.
A nonstick baking tray means that the cheese and marmite puff pastry twists won’t stick to the sheet once they are cooked.
