For a Blackberry Simple Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 16 ounces frozen blackberries
For the Lemonade
- 6 cups water
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Ice
- Fresh lemon slices and blackberries for garnish
Make the Blackberry Simple Syrup
To a medium saucepan, add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and blackberries. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
Strain the blackberry juice through a fine mesh sieve. Allow the blackberry mixture to cool.
Make the Lemonade
To a large pitcher, add lemon juice, blackberry syrup, and 6 cups water. Stir well.
Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lemon slices and blackberries!
