Ingredients

For a Blackberry Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 16 ounces frozen blackberries

For the Lemonade

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Ice
  • Fresh lemon slices and blackberries for garnish

Instructions

Make the Blackberry Simple Syrup

  • To a medium saucepan, add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and blackberries. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the blackberry juice through a fine mesh sieve. Allow the blackberry mixture to cool.

Make the Lemonade

  • To a large pitcher, add lemon juice, blackberry syrup, and 6 cups water. Stir well.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lemon slices and blackberries!
