Cheesy Bacon and Bean Dip

Ingredients

  • 16 oz can refried beans
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup salsa
  • ¼ cup bacon pieces
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Mexican blend cheese divided
  • Sliced jalapenos, sliced green onions, chopped cilantro optional toppings

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 ℉.
  • In a large bowl, combine the refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, bacon pieces, taco seasoning, and half the Mexican blend cheese. Stir well to combine.
  • Spread mixture into a medium baking dish, 8x8 inches or smaller. Top with the remaining ½ shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then turn the broiler to high for an additional 1-2 minutes to get the cheese nice and bubbly.
  • Remove the pan from the oven, and top with sliced jalapenos, sliced green onion, and chopped cilantro.
