Preheat the oven to 350, grease a 13x9 pan or line with parchment paper or foil

In the bowl of a mixer blend butter, cream cheese, and sugar, add in egg and vanilla.

Slowly add in baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour until a thick dough forms.

Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.

For the icing

In the bowl of a mixer add your butter and cream cheese, mix until blended.

Add in your vanilla and slowly add in the powdered sugar. Mix until creamy.

Once your cookie bars are baked allow them to cool completely and then spread the icing evenly across them.

Sprinkle the icing with lots of red white and blue sprinkles.

Cut into squares and serve.
